Article: Quinlan, Moritz debate using funds for study of lake water

TUCKERTON - Tensions came to a boil between Mayor Kevin Quinlan and former Mayor Liz Moritz, yet again, at a Borough Council meeting Monday night.

This time Moritz wanted Quinlan to explain why the borough spent $145,000 to do water studies of Lake Pohatcong. She said the studies wasted taxpayers money because they only duplicated studies that had already been completed several times instead of using the money to do actual work to solve the lake's problems.
