The Clackamas County government issued the following news release:
On this Friday the 13th - superstition does prove to be genuine bad luck for the baseball bat wielding Bagy Hot Springs robbery suspect couple.
Previously, on October 2, 2006, an unidentified male subject, accompanied by a described pregnant female; robbed, menaced, smashed automobile windows and physically assaulted a Portland couple - with a baseball bat - who had been visiting at Bagby Hot Springs. This male suspect also demanded the victim couple to disrobe prior to fleeing the crime scene; although, the victims did not comply with this suspect command to disrobe.
