HEALTH Canada is once again making silicone gel-filled breast implants freely available to Canadian women, but also warning "no medical device is 100 per cent safe."

Fourteen years after silicone implants were pulled from the market amid panic the devices caused everything from joint pain to cancer, Health Canada announced Friday it has granted licenses, with conditions, to two companies to market silicone implants.
