"Spirit of Fès: Paths to Hope," a cross cultural evening of world sacred music bringing together celebrated artists from Muslim, Jewish, Christian and Hindu backgrounds, returns to UCLA Live on Thursday, Oct. 26, as part of a 15 city tour. With roots in Morocco's world acclaimed annual Fès Festival of World Sacred Music, this year's array of vocalists and instrumentalists celebrates music from communities including Islamic Sufi, South Indian and Andalusian Jewish Sephardic. The program begins at 8 p.m., in Royce Hall on the UCLA campus and will run approximately one hour and 45 minutes with one intermission. ...
