Texas Inventors Develop Single-Wall Carbon Nanotubes Fiber Making Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 26 -- Richard E. Smalley, Rajesh Kumar Saini, Ramesh Sivarajan, Robert H. Hauge, Matteo Pasquali and Lars Martin Ericson, all from Houston, and Virginia Angelica Davis of Webster, Texas, have developed a method of making a fiber of aligned single-wall carbon nanotubes.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention involves fibers of highly aligned single-wall carbon nanotubes and a process for making the same.
