Article: UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING RESEARCH REPORT ON WYOMING DRUG COURTS WINS NATIONAL AWARD

The University of Wyoming issued the following news release: A report on drug courts in Wyoming, conducted by Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center (WYSAC) at the University of Wyoming, has been recognized by a national organization as the year's best policy analysis in criminal justice.

The Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) presented its Phillip Hoke award to WYSAC for "demonstrated excellence in translating statistics and research into publications that inform policy." At the recent JRSA annual meeting in Denver, WYSAC Executive Director Burke Grandjean accepted the award on behalf of the report's principal author, Assistant Research Scientist Steve Butler.
