The State University of New York issued the following news release:
State University of New York Chancellor John R. Ryan today announced that the SUNY Learning Network has been honored by the United States Distance Learning Association with the 21st Century Best Practice Award of Distance Learning.
The USDLA awards are among the world's most prestigious and are presented for excellence in distance learning. The SLN makes available more than 4,300 courses and 100 complete degree and certificate programs on 40 SUNY campuses to approximately 100,000 student enrollments.
