Article: SIGN-UP BEGINS NOV. 1 FOR DAIRY PRODUCERS IMPACTED BY 2005 HURRICANE LOSSES

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency has issued the following press release:

Teresa Lasseter, administrator of USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA), today announced that sign-up begins Nov. 1, 2006, for the $17 million 2005 Dairy Disaster Assistance Payment Program (DDAP-II), which will help dairy producers recover from 2005 hurricane losses. DDAP-II is authorized by the Emergency Agricultural Disaster Assistance Act of 2006.
