Article: The next stage for La Crosse Community Theatre

If it all comes together as hoped, patrons of LaCrosse Community Theatre could be chatting in the lobby of a new building that looks out on the Mississippi River by the end of the decade.

That lobby would be in the planned second building of Logistics Health Inc. on Front Street, south of the existing LHI building.

At a meeting Tuesday night in Waterfront Restaurant & Tavern in LHI's first building, theater officials, La Crosse city and county leaders, and LHI Chairman and CEO Don Weber unveiled plans for a proposed facility that would include a 500-seat main theater and, a 150-seat black box theater, plus rehearsal space, a costume shop and spacious lobby with a view of the river.
