Babson College issued the following press release:
Babson College has earned a place on the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for 2005-2006 sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service, the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation, the USA Freedom Corps, and the U.S. Departments of Education and Housing and Urban Development.
This new program recognizes the contributions made by college students through community service on local and national levels. This year, the Honor Roll's emphasis was placed on response to the hurricanes of 2005 in the Gulf coast, while also identifying model programs and practices in higher education.
