The Science Museum of Virginia issued the following news release:
Science Museum of Virginia Director Dr. Walter R.T. Witschey is retiring at the end of this fiscal year. His effective retirement date is Saturday, June 30, 2007. "I appreciate so much the opportunity to have contributed to the life of the Science Museum of Virginia, its mission and its development over the past 15 years," says Witschey. "The opportunity to serve the people of Virginia through the science education mission of the Science Museum has been one of the most rewarding phases of my life."
