Texas A&M University, a component of the public university system in Texas, issued the following news from its agriculture program:
Two Texas Agricultural Experiment Station researchers and a Texas A&M University doctoral student will be honored by the American Society of Agronomy and the Crop Science Society of America on Nov. 15 in Indianapolis.
Dr. Bill Payne of Amarillo, plant physiology researcher, and Dr. Milton C. Engelke of Dallas, turfgrass breeding, genetics and management researcher, have been selected to be Fellows of the American Society of Agronomy. This is the highest honor bestowed on members by the Society.
