Kansas State University issued the following news release:
Thomas Schermerhorn, assistant professor of small animal internal medicine at Kansas State University, has received the College of Veterinary Medicine's 2006 Carl J. Norden Distinguished Teaching Award.
The award, given annually at each veterinary college in the United States, is presented to an outstanding teacher who advances the veterinary profession by inspiring students to their highest levels of achievement and professionalism. The honoree is selected by veterinary students.
