Andrei Illarionov, chief economic advisor for President Valdimir Putin of Russia from 2000 to 2005, will speak at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, at the Rotary Summit Center, 88 S. Fourth St., San José. The Department of Economics at San José State University is sponsoring the event, which is free and open to the public.
