The Georgia Republican Party issued the following news release:
The Georgia Republican Party today filed an ethics complaint against Mark Taylor's campaign for illegal use of Taylor's father's plane. Mark Taylor used his father's plane for campaign travel and failed to reimburse his father and report the plane use as an in-kind donation.
An examination of flight records on the aircraft (tail number N49JG), newspaper accounts of Mark Taylor events, and the Taylor campaign's own blog shows at least 6 flights in the last disclosure period that are clearly campaign-related. Yet, the campaign lists only two reimbursements, both on September 6, 2006.
