Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif., issued the text of the following letter:

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will send the following letter to Congressional leaders on January 3, 2006, calling for a change in federal law to allow consumers to safely import prescription drugs from other countries. The Governor will also reiterate his call for federal action on this issue during his upcoming State of the State address. Below is the full text of the letter.
