The Chester County Commission issued the following news release:
The proposed 2007 Chester County budget was posted to the county's website, www.chesco.org, on Tuesday. The budget was part of the Chester County Commissioners' Sunshine Meeting on Tuesday. "The Commissioners have focused on fiscal responsibility," said Carol Aichele, Chair of the Commissioners. "The recent upgrading of the county's bond rating by Moody's to Aaa is an indication of our stewardship of county tax dollars. We're one of only two counties in all of Pennsylvania with the Aaa rating." The preliminary budget can still undergo changes before being approved.
