The University of Texas at San Antonio issued the following news release:

Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the Texas Folklife Festival needs you to volunteer!

Hosted by UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures in downtown San Antonio's HemisFair Park, the four-day cultural extravaganza runs Thursday, June 8 through Sunday, June 11.

Each year, the festival depends on approximately 1,300 volunteers to help in a variety of areas. When you volunteer at the Texas Folklife Festival, you meet new people, show your cultural pride, have fun, help others and work in a unique spirit of camaraderie. In addition to individuals, corporate volunteers are needed.
