ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 24 -- Melissa Jamie Miczewski of Rahway, N.J., Lou Ann Christine Vena of Scotch Plains, N.J., and Saroja Narasimhan of Matawan, N.J., have developed hair color compositions and methods for coloring hair.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "hair color composition comprising, in a polar solvent, association structures having contained therein at least one water soluble or water dispersible dye that is operable to impart color to the hair when contacted therewith and a method for coloring hair."
The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,135,168 on Nov. 14.
