Rep. Albert Wynn, D-Md. (4th CD), issued the following press release:
Today, Rep. Wynn joined his House colleagues in passing HR 5466, the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail Designation Act. The measure designates the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail, a series of water routes extending approximately 3,000 miles along the Chesapeake Bay and along its tributaries in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. The Trail traces the 1607 and 1608 voyages of Captain John Smith which he used to chart the land and waterways of the Chesapeake Bay.
