DeWITT - Manlius Pebble Hill School is in the midst of a 10-year renovation plan that includes a new media center, library, classrooms, and athletic facilities.
The privately owned school, located at 5300 Jamesville Road in the town of DeWitt, is in the process of raising $6 million to cover the costs of construction.
Currently, $1,725,000 has been raised, and Baxter Ball, head of the school, anticipates the remainder by 2009.
Ball expects to begin construction on the multimedia/library center in 2008 if the funding is available.
The school opened the $1.2 million Laurie Mezzalingua Center for Early Learning Sept. 11.
