JACOB HOLM & Sonner AS, a nonwoven manufacturer based in Denmark, is to expand its business by the acquisition of the Tytex Group, which specializes in advanced knitting technology for major applications in Healthcare. Initially, in a multi-stage process, Jacob Holm & Sønner will hive off its division Jacob Holm & Sons STA (Special & Technical Applications), creating an independent company called Jacob Holm & Sons STA AS, in which the Danish investment company, LD Equity, will acquire a shareholding.
