Article: Finnish Inventors Develop Radio Frequency Identification Technique

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 12 -- Mika Anttila, Tapani Niklander, Timo Holopainen and Santtu Laurila, all from Helsinki, Finland, have developed an arrangement in connection with a patient circuit and an absorber means.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The arrangement comprises an information transfer means and an electronic means and a transponder electronically programmed with desired information. The transponder is attached to the absorber means."
