The Washington state Department of Health issued the following news release:

The license of an Airway Heights nursing assistant has been immediately suspended by the Washington State Department of Health following her conviction for child molestation. It's the first suspension under the state's new system that compares criminal convictions records to the names of licensed health care providers in Washington.

Pamela Vandersnick may not practice as a nursing assistant, based on a criminal conviction of third-degree child molestation - a class C felony. Vandersnick was jailed on the conviction and released in September.
