The Wisconsin Department of Tourism issued the following news release:
When it comes to cheese-making, there may be some question about which state is biggest, but the real issue is - which is the best?
The Wisconsin Department of Tourism hopes to definitively answer that question next month. In mid-January, it will offer national and California-based journalists and food critics the chance to go on a day-long tour of state cheese-making facilities - culminating with a full-contact, curd-on-curd, Wisconsin-versus-California taste-off.
Call it Cheese Bowl I.
