The City University of New York's City College of New York issued the following news release:
Over $1 million dollars was raised at The City College of New York's (CCNY) Third Presidential Awards Dinner, which honored Sy Sternberg (Class of 1965), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of New York Life Insurance Company, CCNY President Gregory H. Williams has announced. The event was held May 2 at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Manhattan.
The glittering gala was attended by many distinguished City College alumni including former Secretary of State Colin L. Powell, '58, and Dr. Matthew Goldstein, '63, Chancellor of The City University of New York (CUNY), who were featured speakers. Linda ...
