How do you develop skilled employees in the midst of running a busy and profitable business? That is the age-old question that companies have been trying to answer for years. Many times training is dismissed and labeled as "non-revenne-generating" due to the inherent difficulty in measuring its effect on the bottom line. Is there a panacea? Probably not, but the fact is that the only employee that is able to effectively help a customer is a well-trained employee. Although study after study has proven this to be tnie, planning and instituting a new training program into an existing facility can be an intimidating and daunting task.
