The Log Cabin Republicans issued the following news release:
The Log Cabin Republicans National Board of Directors today named Patrick Sammon as the organization's new President. Sammon also will serve as President of the Liberty Education Forum, a non-partisan educational foundation that is associated with Log Cabin. Sammon has been leading these organizations on an interim basis since September 1st.
