The Missouri Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:

Elizabeth Schlueter of Troy, Mo., was presented with the prestigious Heritage Award by the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) during its annual convention in Las Vegas. The award recognizes volunteer fair management personnel who are directly active in the success of their fair.

Mrs. Schlueter has been a member of the Missouri State Fair Commission since it was established in 1996. Currently serving as acting chairperson for the commission, she has served on its marketing committee and was chairperson for the Centennial Celebration committee for the 100 th Missouri State Fair.
