Introduction
Considering investing in virtual proofing? Before you do, there are several aspects you should consider; not just the proofing and color management software, but also the monitors, calibrators, and even the viewing conditions. Before we go any further, let's first agree on a few definitions.
The broad definition of soft proofing generally includes all forms of monitor proofing-or simply viewing an image on a monitor to check position, content, or color.
