Article: Nebraska Inventors Develop Truck-Mounted Aerial Device Stand-Up Operator's Platform

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- Dean H. Smith of Eagle, Neb., and William D. Schneider of Malcolm, Neb., have developed a stand-up operator's platform for a truck-mounted aerial device.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "stand-up operator's platform for a truck-mounted aerial device wherein a turret is supported for rotation on the frame of the truck about a vertical axis.
