Article: Florida Inventors Develop Cartridge Filter System

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 25 -- Harold H. Harms of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Eric D. Seville of Hobe Sound, Fla., have developed a fluid filter system that includes a cartridge filter housed in a tank with a standpipe extending from a bottom surface of the tank.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The cartridge filter is positioned in the tank with the standpipe extending into an outlet tube in the filter. Fluids flow into the tank, through the filter, and out through the standpipe."
