The Maryland Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., announced today that $102 million will be invested in Caroline County over the next six years to meet the county's transportation needs. Transportation Secretary Robert L. Flanagan outlined details of Gov. Ehrlich's plan during a meeting today with Caroline County officials and members of the state legislative delegation. The investment is part of an overall $13 billion transportation program for the next six years. The FY 2007-2012 Consolidated Transportation Program (CTP) delivers on Gov. Ehrlich's goal to jumpstart key transportation projects across the State.
