BOUCHARD TO QUEBEC WORKERS: STOP SLACKING! According to Lucien Bouchard, former Parti Québécois premier, the blame for Quebec's high taxes, provincial debt, and poor economic performance rests with lazy workers.

On a nightly television program Bouchard recently explained the problem is the Québécois have a poor work ethic and "work less than Ontarians and infinitely less than Americans. We have to work harder," he said. Bouchard also warned that Quebec cannot afford to continue subsidizing daycare, university tuition or electricity rates - programs that have reduced the cost of living for provincial families.
