The State University of New York Maritime College issued the following news release: It has been an active summer in the Tribology Research Laboratory. Three students - Mr. Andrew Morales (summer intern), Officer Candidate Jeremy Hilliker (independent study student), and Cadet First Class William Walkup (independent study student) - are working in the laboratory this summer. They have completed the construction of a tribometer and are designing specialized fixtures for a new polishing machine. (See tribometer photo.)
