The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety issued the following news release:

After a series of temporary closures to prepare for demolition and reconstruction, the Church Road Bridge in Ardmore will close for a period of 18-24 months beginning on Wednesday, July 26th. "This bridge is well-traveled by those crossing between Lancaster and Montgomery Avenues," stated Don Cannon, Director of Public Works. "Though we regret the inconvenience to drivers, the safety of those traveling through the Townshipis our primary concern."
