Hands-on, feet-first. It's the way Schneider has always been, and living in California hasn't changed that, he said. That's what airlines are for, to get him back to La Crosse where his beloved LaCrosse Footwear is.
The company, which started out as LaCrosse Rubber Mills in 1897, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Four hundred million pairs of footwear later, the company has a foot in the national market, producing approximately 20,000 pairs of footwear daily.
