Humboldt State University issued the following press release:
Humboldt State University has been named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, With Distinction for Hurricane Relief Service. Nationwide, more than 500 colleges applied for the President's Honor Roll in its inaugural year, and Humboldt State was one of 141 colleges and universities honored for distinguished community service and Hurricane Katrina Relief.
Hurricane Katrina Relief took multiple forms on campus last year. Admissions opened HSU's doors to college students displaced by the hurricane by waiving out-of-state tuition and helping to provide housing and support for these new students. Last ...
