The Minnesota Democrat-Farmer-Labor Party issued the following news release:
President Bush's $2.7 trillion spending plan will seriously jeopardize many of Minnesota's vital services, including education, job training and veterans' benefits. If passed on top of the Rep. Kennedy-backed Budget Reconciliation Bill, Minnesota will be in for drastic cuts.
Some of the highlights Minnesota can expect from the Bush budget include:

Eliminates over $37 million in funding for job training and employment services in Minnesota.
