Article: Fire at Cheese Board seems to have been electrical

LINWOOD - A fire official said Monday that there was nothing suspicious about the fire that roared through the Cheese Board in Central Square on Saturday evening, but investigators still don't know exactly what started the blaze.

Chick Kisby, the city's fire investigator, said professionals are testing a piece of electrical equipment from the closet where the fire started. Until the tests are finished, though, fire officials won't be able to give an official cause.

The owner of the Cheese Board, a restaurant and gourmet shop in the popular Route 9 shopping center, said as he stood outside Monday that he'd been told the cause of the fire was electrical.
