The office of Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following press release:
Sen. Susan Collins, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, announced today that Admiral Michael Mullen, Chief of Naval Operations, has committed to have a U.S. Navy ship pay a port visit to the Town of Boothbay Harbor during the 45th annual Windjammer Days Festival, to be held in June. Sen. Collins wrote to Admiral Mullen requesting the visit. "I am thrilled that the Navy will once again honor our great state of Maine with this port visit during the wonderful Windjammer Days Festival in Boothbay Harbor," Senator Collins said.
