WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- Del. Donna M. Christensen, D-Virgin Islands, has introduced the Judicial District of the Virgin Islands Act of 2007 (H.R. 55), legislation that would "establish the District Court of the Virgin Islands as a court under article III of the U.S. Constitution."
The bill, introduced on Jan. 4, was referred to the House Judiciary Committee.
