Article: Harrison Ford dumped 'Star Wars' spin-off in favour of 'Indiana Jones'

Washington, Jan 10 -- Actor Harrison Ford reportedly turned down a 20-million pounds offer by 'Star Wars' creator George Lucas in favour of playing the heroic archaeologist in the fourth 'Indiana Jones' movie.

Lucas however was not very upset over being snubbed by Ford, as he was already contemplating co-producing a fourth film in the famous 'Indiana Jones' series with Steven Spielberg.

"George wanted Harrison to play Indy but cleverly sounded him out about playing Hans Solo instead," the Post Chronicle quoted a source as telling Britain's Daily Star newspaper.
