QUESTION -- We are having a problem deciding on the finishes for our living-dining room renovation project.
The area is a fairly large and receives a lot of natural light through three large windows, but what has us concerned at this time is the best colours to choose for the walls and new area carpet, and the best furniture arrangement.
The renovations have included installing a new gas fireplace between two windows and installing french doors in the opening to the hall and replacing the existing wall-to-wall carpet with wood floors.
