Article: Minimum Wage Fairness Act Introduced in House by Rep. Issa

WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Rep. Darrell Issa, R-California, has introduced the Minimum Wage Fairness Act of 2007 (H.R. 33), legislation that would "provide for a credit for employers of tipped employees in determining the minimum wage required in States that require employers to pay a minimum wage at a rate higher than the federal rate."

The bill, introduced on Jan. 4, was referred to the House Education and Labor Committee.
