Not too many years ago, the 67-acre parcel of land next to Veterans Park in Hamilton was occupied by a single entity-Hamilton Hospital.
But times have changed. Today, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton is a multi-faceted healthcare center that has more than tripled in size. Services provided within this expanded compound range from maternity services to child care to occupational and corporate health, in addition to dozens of outpatient and inpatient services. There's even a heliport next to the Emergency Department.
Times are changing once again. By this time next year, the campus will be home to a branch of one of the most renowned research institutes in the world ...
