WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 -- Rep. Vernon J. Ehlers, R-Michigan, has introduced the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Act (H.R. 250), legislation that would "provide for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)."
The bill, introduced on Jan. 5, was co-sponsored by Rep. Wayne Gilchrest, R-Maryland. It was referred to the House Science and Technology Committee and House Natural Resources Committee.
