The Cook County Board of Commissioners' Office of the President issued the following press release:
The Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) has received a three-year grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address childhood illnesses stemming from housing conditions in the south suburban area. The Healthy Homes Grant provides $760,259 for remediation, intervention and educational outreach activities in the communities of Harvey, Riverdale and Robbins.
