The City University of New York issued the following news release:
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) has granted seed money to Bronx Community College (BCC) for development of a project to teach basic financial planning and create an awareness of the value and importance of managing finances to students in BCC's Bronx, Harlem and Upper Manhattan communities. This is the only grant through CFP Board's 2006 grant program awarded to a community college.
CFP Board granted $75,000 to the BCC project on the belief that early familiarity with financial planning concepts will payoff over a lifetime. Too often college students graduate, step into the workplace with ...
