The Cook County Board of Commissioners' Office of the President issued the following press release:
In an effort to contain the on-going transmission of pertussis at New Trier High School, the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) will provide free vaccinations to students and staff at the Winnetka campus during school hours December 5th through the 8th.
"The school has worked diligently with us to control the spread of the disease by excluding students from school if they exhibit a cough, but we are still seeing cases," said Stephen A.
